PriApps Touch-Free is a completely contactless Single Sign-On (SSO), Print, Copy, Scan and Fax app for MFPs that runs on smartphones and tablets.  It allows users to perform print, copy, scan and fax workflows without the need to touch the control panel of the printer or MFP.

PriApps Touch-Free is licensed by connected print devices.  There is no limit to the number of users that can access the functionality.  For example, an organization with 300 users, 10 printers and 5 MFPs that only wants to use PriApps Touch-Free with the MFPs would only need to purchase a 5 MFP license.

PriApps Touch-Free works by communicating with MFPs via the PriApps Application server.  SSO, Print, Copy, Scan & Fax commands are translated by the PriApps Application server for the different makes and models of printers and MFPs that user wants to use.  This has the added advantage that mobile devices do not need to be connected directly to every printer or MFP on the network.

The PriApps Touch-Free app is available free-of-charge on the App Store & Google Play.  It works with PriApps application software that can be purchased from a PriApps Authorized Reseller.  Please contact PriApps directly to find out your nearest Reseller.

No, printers and MFPs do not need to be made available on a WiFi network.  The PriApps Application server manages the connection to network printers and MFPs through traditional network connections.

NO!  PriApps does not require print servers of any kind to function.  In fact PriApps allows you to completely eliminate all print servers throughout your organization, reducing complexity and saving costs.

PriApps Touch-Free is priced by connected printer or MFP.  Licenses only need to be purchased for those print devices that you want to use PriApps Touch-Free with, and not every print device on your network.

No.  PriApps Touch-Free offers a number of methods of contactless authentication including selecting a printer from your list of favorites on your app, picking a printer from a list of all available devices, searching for a printer using the PriApps Touch-Free app, or even using your staff ID card or security access badge with a PriApps card reader.

PriApps was the first print management software vendor to use QR codes for authentication and secure print release from mobile devices over 10 years ago, whilst offering other methods for users who did not have access to its smartphone app.

The PriApps Application server automatically publishes a QR code on the control panel of all connected MFPs.  For printers that do not have a control panel capable of publishing a QR code, PriApps generates a QR code sticker for every connected device that can be printed and attached to printers and MFPs.
