About PriApps

A few things you may not have known…

Peter Turnbull and Grant Levett formed PriApps in 2009 in response to the increasing need of mobile workers to print from their mobile devices.  Back then, Blackberry was the #1 mobile device in the workplace and PriApps was the 1st ISV to bring printing to the mobile worker.  Today smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices are part of our daily lives and PriApps continues to lead the way in delivering innovative print management solutions no matter what the environment or what the make/model of printer or MFP.

But it didn’t just start in 2009.  For almost 10 years prior, Peter and Grant were helping companies such as Xerox, Sharp, Dell Professional Services and Computacenter deliver some of the largest Managed Print Service (MPS) contracts across Europe and North America.  PriApps was born out of this experience, as was the need to deliver an intuitive, feature rich, enterprise scalable print management offering under a licensing model that made sense for our dealers and End Customers.

  • 2009

    – Peter Turnbull & Grant Levett form PriApps Ltd in the United Kingdom

    – PriApps releases its first print app for Blackberry smartphones

    – PriApps first customer is located in Italy!

    – PriApps partners with Epson to provide Blackberry printing directly to Epson’s latest range of inkjet printers

    – PriApps partners with EKM4 to deliver print usage tracking under the Insight II brand

    – PriApps partners with Ubiquitech to offer secure print release on Xerox and Sharp MFPs

    – PriApps Mobile Print sells to over 5,000 customers within first 6 months of release

  • 2010

    – Xerox Europe selects PriApps as its preferred partner for Mobile Print

    – PriApps releases Mobile Print Connector for Equitrac

    – Newport City Council selects PriApps as its Mobile Print standard

    – PriApps hits 10,000 customers

    – PriApps appoints Document Accounting Solutions (DAS) as its Distributor for Africa

    – PriApps appoints Drivve LLC as the exclusive distributor of its technology under the Drivve brand

    – PriApps enters Joint Venture with Drivve LLC to distribute Drivve and Drivve branded PriApps’ technology in the United Kingdom & Ireland

    – Peter Turnbull is appointed Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Drivve LLC to spearhead global sales growth of PriApps and Drivve technology

    – PriApps releases its print management software under the Drivve Print brand

    – PriApps releases its secure print release app for Toshiba MFPs

    – Toshiba America Business Solutions selects PriApps technology as its preferred mobile print standard

    – PriApps releases its mobile print connector to Papercut and other 3rd party print management software

    – Kingston University selects PriApps mobile print technology for students and staff

    – Sales growth of PriApps technology under the Drivve brand reaches triple digits

    – PriApps releases its secure print release app for Kyocera MFPs

    – Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA) selects PriApps technology as its preferred print management offering for its direct sales operations, Sharp Business Systems (SBS)

    – PriApps makes its first sales in Australia through Advanced Business Technologies

    – PriApps releases its Single Sign-On (SSO) & Secure Print Release app for iOS and Android devices

    – PriApps releases its secure print release app for OKI MFPs

    – HM Treasury selects PriApps technology for its head office operations in London

    – PriApps releases its secure print release app for Samsung MFPs

    – Netflix selects PriApps technology for secure print release and Single Sign-On (SSO) with Google Cloud Print

    – Sales of PriApps technology continue to grow month-on-month across North America, Europe, Africa and Australasia

    – PriApps releases modules for Rules-based printing & Cost Recovery

    – PriApps partners with Print Control Software, Inc. to offer its technology under the ROI Print Manager brand

  • 2016

    – PriApps releases its technology under the ROI Print Manager brand

    – PriApps releases its secure print release app for Ricoh MFPs

    – PriApps technology is selected as the print management standard at North East ISD supporting the largest single sale of Sharp MFPs in the USA in 2016

  • 2017

    – New Hanover County Schools selects PriApps technology to manage print and copy usage across 220 Kyocera MFPs

    – PriApps releases its Centralized Printer Driver Management module

    – PriApps technology is selected for new University of Texas System building in downtown Austin, TX

  • 2018

    – PriApps releases its secure print release app for Konica MFPs

    – PriApps decides to market and sell its technology under its own brand as well as continuing to support its private label partners

    – PriApps establishes sales and support operations in Austin, TX

  • 2019

    – PriApps signs private label agreement with MHS in Germany to sell PriApps technology under the PMeasy brand

    – PriApps launches INSIGHTS.  A revolutionary new data analytics service that pin points the actual tangible costs savings customers can make in their organizational print and copy usage

    – PriApps is invited to extend its Secure Print Release (Pull Print) and Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication applications to HP MFPs

    – PriApps launches the most rewarding Reseller Program in the industry

    – PriApps commits to donate $1 per year for every MFP license under Maintenance & Support to the National Forest Foundation

    – PriApps launches Touch-Free, the world’s first completely contactless Single Sign-On (SSO), Print, Copy, Scan & Fax app for MFPs
